Have you heard about @clovelly_can stitch a square project?

Upcycled fabrics (curtains and clothes) are turned into small squares using visible stitching. These are embellished with visible stitching using different coloured threads. It’s a slow, meditative way to sew. And so simple.
The squares CAN be used on a tired tote or an ancient apron, on a dress or a shirt. A cushion or a hat. Clovelly CAN says: ‘We would love to share the project with you. It’s a bit like knitting squares for charity but much more fun.’

Clovelly artists have contributed the first 6 embellished squares for #ClovellyCANstitch. These include one by Evan Oberholster and his sister, Ilse, four from Carol Davidson and one from her daughter, Bonny Schlebusch.

Pick up a patch to stitch and keep it with you. Stitch at the beach, stitch with friends, stitch with coffee and friends!

The squares are made from upcycled fabric and the project will raise funds for Clovelly CAN‘s ongoing projects supporting soup kitchens.
